Overview

FocusAll is an AI computational photography camera app designed to help users capture photos with everything in focus — foreground, midground, and background — with a single shutter press.

We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect when you use FocusAll, how we use it, and how we protect it. We follow a data minimization principle: we collect only what is necessary to run the service, we never sell your data, and photos are destroyed immediately after processing.

Information We Collect

1. Device Identifier

We generate an anonymous Device ID that contains no personally identifiable information. It is randomly created on first launch, stored in the app's private storage, and automatically removed when the app is uninstalled. We use it to:

• Link your subscription status and usage records
• Help diagnose issues when you request technical support

2. Photo Data (AI Fusion feature only)

When you tap "AI Fusion", the app temporarily uploads your multi-focus photos to our servers for processing. Here is exactly what happens:

• Photos are processed entirely in server memory — never written to disk or any database
• The composited output is held temporarily for you to download; all temporary files are automatically and permanently deleted within 24 hours
• We never read, analyze, or use your photos to train any AI model

3. Subscription & Billing Information

If you purchase a Pro subscription, it is processed through Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive only the platform-issued purchase token to verify your subscription status. We have no access to your payment card number, billing address, or any other payment details — those are managed entirely by the platform.

4. Access Logs

We log API request paths, response times, status codes, and timestamps for service monitoring and debugging. These logs contain no photo content, location data, or any personally identifiable information, and are automatically purged after a reasonable retention period.

Information We Do Not Collect

FocusAll does not collect:

• Name, phone number, or email address
• GPS location or geographic coordinates
• Contacts, messages, or call history
• Photos taken by other apps in your camera roll
• Browsing history or activity in other apps
• Facial recognition or biometric data

Data Security

We use multiple layers of protection:

• Encrypted transport: All network traffic uses HTTPS/TLS to prevent interception
• In-memory processing: Photo compositing happens entirely in RAM — nothing is written to persistent storage
• Automatic deletion: Temporary files have a 24-hour lifecycle policy and are physically deleted on expiry
• Rate limiting: Device-ID-based throttling blocks abusive bulk requests

Local Storage & Photo Library Access

FocusAll uses sandboxed storage to protect your photo library:

• All captured focus-stack photos are saved in the app's private sandbox directory — they are never automatically added to your system photo library
• A photo is saved to your library only when you explicitly tap "Export" or select a photo to export
• Photo library permission is used only at the moment of export and is never accessed in the background
• All sandbox data is removed when the app is uninstalled

Third-Party Services

• Google Play / Apple App Store: Subscription purchase and verification; payment details are managed by the platform
• AI image synthesis service: Photos are relayed through our servers before reaching the AI service — the third party never receives your original photos directly

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any advertiser, data broker, or other commercial entity.

Your Rights

• Access: Request a copy of data we hold associated with your device
• Deletion: Request deletion of all records linked to your Device ID
• Withdraw consent: Uninstall the app at any time to stop all data collection
• Data portability: Your photos in the local sandbox always belong to you and can be exported at any time

Children's Privacy

FocusAll is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice. Continued use of FocusAll after the update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
